FTL traveling always has been a challenge to scientists due to
the infinite amount of energy it consumes to achieve this.
We hired the best engineers from CERNs LHC Team in order to
build our own offshore highest-energy particle accelerator which is
specifically designed to create a wormhole that will provide the
energy density we need for our equipment. That's cool. In fact, near zero,
since we have to cool down all those magnets - particle accelerators are
expensive little bitches, ya know?
Best-of-breed technology and sophisticated mitigation strategies are
implemented to guarantee [1] the safety of our experiments.

 How does FTL technology work?
There are many different approaches to FTL transportation, however, all of
them are trying to accomplish this in terms of relative velocity while we
follow another approach: Space Folding!
Space folding allows us to reach any place in our universe immediately and
most importantly without the effect of time dilation which would cause traveling
subjects to perform unintentional one-way time travel.
The technology is surprisingly simple: We created an graviton emitting device which
will create a focused beam of gravitons that will first bend and then fold space and time
while at a certain location. The black hole is needed to power the graviton emitter.
Are blackholes dangerous?
If not handled properly: Yes.
But so are cars.
Our scientists and engineers found a way to stabilize it by enclosing it with exotic matter.
Although some researchers are constantly trying to undermine our integrity by claiming that
we might expose our whole solar system to the risk of being annihilated, we want to assure you
that we have taken all risks into account since we do some responsible research here!
Our scientists consider our approach to be safe. We estimate the chance for the method
to fail will be as low as 2.591%. Good enough for us? Good enough for science!
When will the experiment start?

You're wondering which year? Well .. that's secret for now. You'll notice anyway.
There will be no press and media coverage as we have to keep the location of
our offshore research center to avoid or medieval minded nations to interfere
with our experiment.
